I have experience in lymphedema treatment, pediatrics and ADL and cognitive retraining.

I have been a clinical supervisor for Occupational Therapy Masters program students and Occupational Therapy Assistants , also High school students gaining experience to see if the field of OT will right for them. I love to teach and enjoy the challenge to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.

My name is Cynthia Reed but you are welcome to call me Ce. Ocala is my home as I have lived in the area since I was 5 years old when my family moved here from Indiana. I am a 2017 graduate of the COTA program at Keiser University in Daytona Beach, Florida. While I may be a recent grad, I have over 25 years of experience in rehab, most of that as a rehab technician in hand therapy. I am very excited to be part of  the Brit Therapy team to serve the Ocala community and surrounding areas. I love fabricating custom splints,  educating patients and walking them through the rehab journey. My background includes working with traumatic injuries to the upper extremities, wound care, stroke, burns, work hardening/ modification, amputees, edema control and adaptive equipment. I am a firm believer in a very "hands on" approach to therapy( pun intended, because humor helps) and that with persistence, guidance and creativity you can always improve your circumstances despite setbacks or injury.
